We want as many people as possible to experience the fascination of tango. However, the beauty of tango lies in the subtle movements and conscious posture of the entire body. Therefore, it is inevitable that learning it takes some time.
You may also find tango classes in your area. Before investing your time and money in a tango class, I recommend that you check for yourself what Argentine tango actually is. If the dance school actually teaches Argentine tango, they will pay attention to the beauty of movement and posture. However, if the class teaches basic steps (also called bases) or only figures, you should avoid it. As I mentioned earlier, tango does not have a basic step. And figures alone do not make your dancing beautiful.
Because everyone has different physical abilities, we are happy to give private lessons. The cost of lessons is not fixed. You decide for yourself how much it is worth to you.

If you bring these three elements, you can learn tango more easily:
- Body awareness
- Musicality
- Memory
Body control: Tango is comparable to sports or art forms that require technical skill, such as tennis or playing a musical instrument. If you already have experience in these areas, tango will quickly bring you great joy.
Musicality: Naturally, we dance tango to music. At the very least, you need to be able to recognize the rhythm of the music.
Memory: All tango techniques are structured based on fundamental techniques. Therefore, we need to retain what we’ve learned to progress. A good memory is therefore particularly advantageous!
What Should I Pay Special Attention To When Dancing Tango?
Milonga and Practica are places to enjoy dancing tango TOGETHER. Respectful interaction with your dance partner and those present is an essential part of tango.
If you speak French, I would also highly recommend Eugenia and Leo’s tango class in Metz. They are professional tango dancers and also teach authentic tango. They have very pleasant personalities and you will really enjoy their classes!
